How much can a meeting really cost you?
Poorly conceived and badly run meetings can flush serious money down the drain. They can make or break a profit margin.
First, let us examine what people’s time is actually worth from an organisational perspective?
Most calculations for business people convert time spent in work, or on business activity if you are self-employed, into an hourly rate.
Marketing for Businesses with no Marketing Manager
Many businesses, particularly small or newly formed businesses, don’t have a dedicated marketing manager.
Often it’s the owner who undertakes the task of marketing the business, usually with minimal time and limited expertise. Whilst this can bring some degree of success, it’s sometimes seen as a loathsome task that takes valuable time away from the running of the business.
Should your next car or van lease include maintenance?
I don’t know.
Despite offering and even recommending that my customers pay a bit more to have all their servicing and tyres included in their monthly rate, frankly I don’t know for certain. I do know that customers that take this service have statistically higher levels of satisfaction and peace of mind but I’m not sure if they always save money.
The pen remains mightier
Most people when facing challenging or even stressful situations come crashing down, and resort to blaming the situations around them. As Tony Robbins says, resources are not the problem, you not being resourceful is the problem.
And I truly wish more people would become more resourceful, work from that coffee shop, schedule your time better…
