As many who knows me, Im pretty much in to social media, and have managed many social accounts for companies of all shapes and sizes! However, Friends+Me is a force to be reckoned with.
One thing that many struggle with is which social media platform to use when managing all of their social media accounts, and one that actually lets you post to Google+ profiles and not just pages. It seems that no matter where you look you can never find the right solution.
Hootsuite is great, but doesn’t support Pinterest, and doesn’t let you post to Google+ personal accounts.
SproutSocial is amazing, and the reporting is outstanding. However, only posts to your standard networks, and doesn’t support Google, Pinterest etc.
Then you have platforms like BufferApp, Falcon Social the list goes on and on.
For a long time I was a big ambassador of Sprout Social, and although its not massively expensive, for some the $59 a month commitment maybe a bit too much.
Hootsuite is great, but as mentioned above it doesn’t give you all the platforms that you really want to publish too. Sure it lets you see whats going on on Instagram, but thats about it and still comes in at £6.99 a month.
However, I have discovered the solution that everyone has long awaited for.
Let me introduce you all to Friends+Me, sure the name doesn’t jump out at you. But the platform certainly does, more so than most I have used over the last 5 or so years.
Friends+Me is clean, easy to use, comes with a handy Chrome Extension and are you ready for it? It publishes to the places you really want.
You can stack up all your posts and fire them out like in most platforms, however with Friends+Me you can posts to both LinkedIn Pages and Profiles, you can post to both Google+ Pages and Profiles, Communities & the new Collections, as well Facebook Profiles, Pages and groups, you can post to Twitter, Tumblr and ASP.net. But, for you Pinterest lovers, you can even post to your boards!
This is definitely the biggest and best find I have stumbled across for quite a while in the digital playground. And as for the price… $9 a month, which lets you connect up to 10 accounts. You can even use it for FREE, if you connect just 3 accounts, but hey, why stop at 3!!!
