Some say that entrepreneurs are not created, they’re born, others say that not everyone is made to be one, others say if you push hard enough, then anything is possible.
I feel that while ever you are waiting for the right opportunity to present itself, it doesn’t matter if you were born an entrepreneur or created. If you wait for the right timing then you’re going to be waiting for quite some time.
If you truly want to break free, if you want to have the freedom to live a rich life, then you need to be prepared to go through the struggle that comes with the freedom.
Being an entrepreneur means busting out of the 9-5 mindset, it also means that weekends are a thing of the past,
Sure, some will argue that you don’t need to work yourself to exhaustion, that you need to take time out. But, if you’re doing what YOU truly desire, living your dream, why would you need to escape? Right now, its 20:57pm and Im punching the keys on my keyboard… I love it! I forgot what 9-5 feels like many moons ago, in fact 9-5 for me should be more like 95, the number of hours I work each week.
So are we born entrepreneurs? Do we develop the necessary skills or are we just drifting our way through life hoping things will work out.
Here are my 3 telltale signs that maybe you were born to be an entrepreneur
1. You Think Different To Everyone Else
You like to challenge the norm, searching for new ideas and constantly solving problems. You love to brainstorm, and the idea of doing things the same way gives you that cold sweats. You don’t worry about yesterday and focus on building a better tomorrow.
You also find that your mind is constantly going, and downtime for you means more hustle.
2. You Don’t Seem To Blend Or Fit In
For some reason you just cant seem to fit in, you may find that you progress in your career or even earn a good income, but just don’t feel like you’re in the right place. And the idea of staying in the same place for any long period of time scares the hell out of you.
You just know that if you do things for yourself, then life would be good. If you have this feeling, then its time to take the plunge.
3. You Just Know
I remember seeing an interview Tony Robbins conducted with John Reese, John was one of the first digital marketers to bust £1,000,000 in a day. And the thing he said was, he just knew it would happen. As a entrepreneur, you have that feeling too, you just know that it will happen, it comes from your core.
Even if it doesn’t happen right away, you still have that feeling that things will work out.
If you find that these 3 telltale signs resonate with you, then its your obligation to explore them. Sure there’re plenty of reasons to play it safe, pick up your monthly salary, clock out at 5pm and relax all weekend. But if you have the itch, if you’re a thoroughbred entrepreneur then the itch wont go away until you give it a scratch.
